### Description (1683 / 4000)

In The Kibble reads dog food from the label up. Point your phone at a shelf of dog food and the figures that matter float over every bag in view: protein on a dry matter basis, the starch left after protein, fat, fiber and moisture, and calories per cup.

HOLD ONE, KNOW FOR YOUR DOG
Hold the camera on a bag and it locks. Add your dog once, with the ingredients they react to, and every bag gets a clear stamp: approved, or not for your dog, naming the exact phrase on the label.

IT WORKS IN THE AISLE
The catalog lives on your phone, so answers come in under a second with no signal. Only a barcode we do not recognize is sent to our server, and we keep none of them.

BROWSE 2,500 FOODS
Every food we have read, by brand, A to Z. Open a brand and swipe through its foods, jump to any letter, or search by brand or recipe.

YOUR SHELF
Everything you scan is kept on your Shelf, so the next store trip starts where the last one ended. Save the ones you are considering with one tap, and send a food to a friend as a card.

MY DOGS
Name, breed, size, age and allergies, in six light steps. Dogs live on your phone. Sign in with your inthekibble.com account and they sync both ways with the website.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
No ads, no analytics SDKs, no selling of data. The camera is used only while you scan and frames stay on your phone. The full list of what the app stores and sends is in our privacy policy.

About the figures: the starch estimate is calculated from the figures printed on the label. The figures describe the label, not your dog. Talk to your vet about what your dog should eat.

In The Kibble is independent. We do not sell dog food and no brand pays to be listed.

## Tester notes
Camera is required for scanning. Any US supermarket or pet-store dog food with a UPC works; about 1,300 foods are in the offline index. If a code is unknown, use Snap the bag or Search by name. Accounts are optional; a test account can be created in the app with any email.
